Today I decided I needed to clean up and organize my classroom materials.  Going into my second year of teaching I am finding that I have a much better idea of how I want to organize my room to make it run more smoothly. I hope to be done by tonight but I won't hold my breath. My kids are hounding me to watch Ella Enchanted.  This can wait until tomorrow to finish unless......!

I have to thank all the bloggers I follow because all of your ideas and recommendations have really helped me along this summer!

Have a great evening!

Blogging?

Hi all,

I am new to this blog and have found that I do not know how I can interact with others, other than posting comments on their site.
How do you connect with other bloggers? I am just starting out so any advice would great.

Happy Blogging!

Lesson Planner

I have come to a cross roads in preparing for the upcoming school year: create my own lesson planner or purchase one from Erin Condren.
I have tried creating my own but love the ease of use and I'll admit, my pure laziness, keeps me moving towards Erin Condren's teacher planner.
So what's my dilemma, it's making the commitment and moving forward! It's that word called PROCRASTINATION!!!! Once I make the commitment that means I now need to jump in and start planning!
I know many of you are already in this phase as schools across the nation will be going back to school in a matter of a week or two. But I digress! Lesson planner - purchase or create that is the question! I would love to hear others thoughts and challenges.

Happy Hump Day!!!

Entering the world of blogging

Today is my first blog and boy does this make me nervous.  I am hoping to use this blog to share my ideas and support the many wonderful bloggers who have contributed to my first year in teaching!
